Can you quote for multiple services?

Yes of course! If you contact me with the services that you are interested in then I will put together a price tailor made for you.

Do you offer discounts for combined services?

 I offer discounts if you combine select services for instance if an individual is booking "Hair" and "Make-Up" then you will receive 10% off.  

What if there are multiple people on the day and time constraints?

Sometimes it is better to source a separate makeup artist and hairstylist so we can work on multiple people at one time. This can obviously be much more efficient in restricted times and makes for a nice relaxed morning. Before taking on multiple people for multiple services I would need to know exactly what time you would have to leave in order to arrive at the ceremony in time and know exactly what I would be doing style wise for each person. I have recommendations should you want an additional Hair and Makeup Artist.  

Do you travel?

I am happy to travel but please be aware that additional expenses ie. fuel, accommodation, parking etc will need to be covered by the client. Fuel I charge at £0.40 per mile after 10 miles from my location and the same for the return journey. This is for both the trial and the wedding day and can be added to the final payment.

How do I go about booking a package for my wedding?

Once you have contacted me with the services you are wanting I will send back a personalised quote and a booking form. If you would like to engage me to provide the quoted services then you will need to complete and return the booking form. I will then send an invoice for the 20% deposit. Your date will be secured as soon as I have received your deposit. 

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash and bank transfers.

Do I have to have a trial?

I would strongly recommend a trial for both Hair and Make-up. Trials are basically a time to play around with styles and adjust them depending on what you think. Sometimes this can take a few attempts to perfect but with a few tweaks we can find the perfect style for you. The idea behind this being that your wedding morning is planned to perfection and stress free. 

Where and when do I have a trial?

I usually suggest to have a trial approximately 2 months before the big day but this can vary. If there are multiple trials booked ie for bridesmaids as well then I recommend to do them on the same day if possible, a second opinion is always good! It’s definitely nice to have each others advice on styles! I am happy to travel but please be aware that there may be additional expenses that will need to be covered. Can I have my trial on a Saturday?

I do try and keep my weekends available for wedding bookings, especially during busy periods. However, I understand that it can be difficult to find time mid week when you work full time! It is best to contact me well in advance if you are likely to struggle with times.

What do I need to do before a trial?

Ahead of the trial all I will need is the address of where trial will be and pictures of possible styles for bride and bridesmaids. At the trial, I also ask that you try and have an idea of what accessories you want in your hair ie. veil, hair clips, hair vines, flowers, tiaras etc etc and if you have already bought something, to have it available to incorporate into the style on your trial date. Please make sure that you and anyone else having a trial wash your hair the day before and that no products are used.

How long does a trial last?

This can vary but I usually allow 2-3 hours for hair and makeup. It is important to me that you leave the trial feeling happy with what we have discussed and practised so the time is flexible.

Am I obligated to continue with the booking after the trial?

Should you not want to continue with the booking after the trial all that will need to be settled is the cost of the trial and any additional expenses incurred ie. travel, parking etc

Frequently Asked Questions - Wedding Day


How will my wedding morning be planned?

Before the day I will send a "Timeline" to you. This will be a guide as to how I would hope the morning of your wedding will run. It's always good to have a rough plan of action to ensure it all runs smoothly and everyone knows where they have to be and when. If there are any issues with timings then we can always re-juggle the order of people.

What do I have to do before the day?

As with the trial I ask that everyones hair is washed the night before and that no styling products are used. For anyone who is having makeup applied please wear little or no makeup on the morning. I also ask that all people either have a robe, a button up shirt or something that they can easily get over their head so as not to ruin the style or makeup once done. 

What will you need on the day?

A parking space would be great as I have a lot of kit that I will be bringing with me, it is also sometimes challenging to find one when there is not one allocated and this can cause delay on the morning. Please be aware that any parking costs are chargeable.

The only other thing that again is required is a nice light working space (preferably natural light) with a large mirror, chair and access to plugs. I will also require a table or surface for products, brushes and tools.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability.

Will you post pictures of me on social media?

Any pictures/video taken by myself at a trial or wedding may be used on social media, website, Blog, advertising, internet promotion or any other purpose and in any manner and/or medium considered standard by the wedding Industry. This is unless you have expressly withdrawn your consent in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions - Payment


When will I have to pay the remaining balance?

Before the Big Day I will raise an invoice for the remaining amount owed. Payment will need to be made by the time I have completed the instructed services on the day, some brides choose to make payment in the week leading up to the event as it will be one less thing to think about on the morning.

How can I pay?

I accept cash and bank transfers.

Is my deposit refundable?

I'm afraid should you cancel my services less than 12 weeks before your wedding date for any reason then all payments are non refundable. This is inclusive of deposit, any trials already undertaken and costs incurred by myself. 

What happens if you are taken ill on the day?

Unfortunately these problems do occasionally (but very rarely) occur. In this particular case I will make every effort to source an alternative hair and makeup artist, if however this is not possible then all payments will be returned inclusive of the deposit but excluding the value of any services rendered ie. any trials undertaken.

What happens if for some reason I have to change the date?

Again, these situations do arise. If I am available on the new date then I am happy to transfer the deposit, however I cannot offer a refund of deposit less than 12 weeks before your wedding date.
