Yes of course! Please fill out my enquiry form (linked below) and I will be able to send you an itemised quote for your consideration.
Should your booking involve multiple services within a limited time allocation a second stylist may be needed. I am afraid that I am only able to quote for the services that I am able to complete within the given time frame. If an additional stylist is needed I am happy to forward some recommendations of other local artists that may be able to help.
I am happy to travel but please be aware that all involved expenses ie. fuel, accommodation, parking etc will need to be covered. Travel is calculated by the time taken to drive to and from my home in Bude, Cornwall to your chosen location. I charge £6.25 per 15 minutes and the same for the return journey.
Once you have filled out my Enquiry Form you will be sent a proposal. This will show and itemised quote for your consideration. If you are happy with the proposal you will need to accept my Terms and Conditions and pay an £100.00 booking fee. Your wedding date will then be secured.
Your invoice will have the option to pay securely online via card or e-cheque. I accept bank transfers and cash should that be more convenient.
You will see that my price for bridal hair includes a 90 minute trial. I rarely accept bookings from those that feel they do not require a trial. They are basically a time to play around with styles and adjust them depending on what you think. Sometimes this can take a few attempts to perfect but with a few tweaks we can find the perfect style for you. The idea behind this being that your wedding morning is planned to perfection and stress free.
I usually suggest to have a trial approximately 2 months before the big day but this can vary. If there are multiple trials booked ie for bridesmaids as well then I recommend to do them on the same day if possible, a second opinion is always good! It’s definitely nice to have each others advice on styles! All trials are to be done at my home salon in Bude, Cornwall.
Please also be aware that I am unable to do any trials on a weekend. I have to reserve weekend dates for wedding bookings. I kindly ask that all brides ensure they are able to do their trial on a weekday (daytime). Many thanks in advance for your understanding.
Ahead of the trial you will be sent all the information you need on how to prepare for your trial and what to expect on the day.
This can vary but I usually allow 90mins. It is important to me that you leave the trial feeling happy with what we have discussed and practised so the time is flexible but please be aware that if trials do run over the time allocated then there will be an additional charge.
Should you not want to continue with the booking after the trial all that will need to be settled is the cost of the trial and any additional expenses incurred.
At your trial we will be able to run through your timings for your wedding. I will then draw up a schedule which will be emailed to you. It's always good to have a rough plan of action to ensure it all runs smoothly and everyone knows where they have to be and when. If there are any issues with timings then we can always re-juggle the order of people.
You will be contacted before your wedding date with all the information you need on how to prepare for the day and any requests from me.
Yes, I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability.
Any pictures/video taken by myself at a trial or wedding may be used on social media, website, Blog, advertising, internet promotion or any other purpose and in any manner and/or medium considered standard by the wedding Industry. This is unless you have expressly withdrawn your consent in writing.
After you have paid your booking fee the remaining balance must be paid in two separate instalments;
50% - 12 weeks before your wedding date.
50% - 7 days before your wedding date.
Your invoice will be sent through to you via email at the times outlined above, again with the option to pay securely online via card or e-cheque.
Should you cancel my services I am afraid that your booking fee is non refundable. However there are certain circumstances where you may be able to receive a partial refund. These are outlined in your contract.
Unfortunately these problems do occasionally (but very rarely) occur. In this particular case I will make every effort to source an alternative hair artist, if however this is not possible then all payments will be returned inclusive of the booking fee but excluding the value of any services rendered ie. any trials undertaken.
Again, these situations do arise. If I am available on the new date then I am happy to transfer the booking fee, however if I am not available then I am afraid that your booking fee is forfeited (again there are circumstances where a partial refund may be available, please refer to your contract for more information).
